We loved going to Silver City Brewery in Silverdale, by the mall. Great home town brewery with awesome food and service that can?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t be beat! A great place to take family and friends.
Another favorite was Toad House Pizza on Wheaton Way, in the Safeway shopping center. It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a small restaurant specializing in gourmet wood-fired pizzas. The also have many micro-brews on tap and more in bottles. Very family friendly and great food!

We just left this area. WA is a beautiful state and has so many oppotunities for exploring nature. We really enjoyed our time there?¢‚Ǩ¬¶.but living in the Kitsap peninsula is difficult if you like the sun. I love rain, but after weeks on end of constant rain (even though it is light), it begins to wear on you. There are a lot of gray days. Our first year was not as bad, but recently the ?¢‚Ǩ?ìwinter?¢‚Ǩ¬ù lasted from Oct ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú late May. It just seemed that the sun never came out?¢‚Ǩ¬¶.if it did, it was for one day, then back to gray. We lived in Port Orchard in a subdivision called McCormick Woods. I highly recommend this are to everyone. The schools are not as good as the Silverdale area, but still are good schools. The area is beautiful and the neighbors are great. Many military families live there.

Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor is located on the Kitsap Peninsula across Puget Sound from Seattle. Naval Base Kitsap ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Bangor and Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton comprise the base. Each base has its own specialties: Bangor works with the submarine communities and Bremerton with the Ship communities.
